PROJECT PRESENTATION
Producing innovative projects is presented among the international requirements and necessities to increase the young generation’s interest towards science and to endure the continuity of technological rise in this day with the technology has rapidly spread among the individuals and renovation and development processes has become shorter.
Services supporting scientific development and production activities are carried out in our country in order to have our young people involved in educational, scientific, artistic and cultural activities in their leisure times and to support services contributing to production activities.
Cekmekoy Municipality organizes a Science Olympics renewed every period, to contribute to the international high school level interaction in order to increase the efficiency of our county as well as complying with the vision of our country.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Supporting International High School Level Interaction.
- Contributing to the interaction with Turkish Abroad and Related Communities.
- Increasing the interest of our young people in science, culture and art.
- Popularizing and generalizing the innovative culture among the young population can be shown among the main objectives of our Project
PROJECT REASON
Çekmeköy Municipality has undertaken a universal responsibility to transform the world of today, where ethnic and ideological divisions and boundaries are determined, into a livable world in peace. It is aimed to hold an organization in which international dialogue environments will develop, a generation that innovative Technologies will be effective in the international arena will grow up, and a blue globe will come together in peace. For these reasons, an International Science Olympics project has been carried out in order to accomplish the goals determined by the vision of Innovative and Productive Youth, Productive New Generations.
High school students and university students from all countries can participate in the competition. In order to obtain valid references in students’ countries, a cooperation has been established with Universities in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America.The authority to be awarded is to accredit the title and grades (country first, continental grade, etc.) to those who qualify to participate in the final exhibition, and the grades to be credited.
Scientific Innovation Competition will be organized in 3 different categories with the aim of achieving our targets within the activity to be performed. Establishment and development of an international dialogue environment will be ensured. It is thought that the interest of the young population and the future work potential will be affected by such meetings. The organization planned in this framework is justified in line with the determined objectives.

Competition Rules
- High school and university students from all over the world can participate in the competition.
- Each student can participate in the competition with only one project, and each project is prepared by a maximum of two students.
- Only one advisor can participate in each project. On the other hand, an advisor can participate in as many projects as he/she likes. It is not compulsory to have an advisor in the project.
- Projects which have participated in or applied to any project competition, under the same or a different name and/or with the same or similar content (subject), before the application deadline of this competition, can also participate in this competition.
- Projects not conforming to the above-stated conditions will not be accepted to the competition.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
- If needed, the project application area can be changed by the jury.
- Projects which have passed the pre-assessment criteria will be invited to be presented in the exhibition to take place on May 20, 21 and 22.
- The students who have prepared these projects will be interviewed by the jury during the exhibition.
- In the Final Competition, projects will be re-evaluated by specialist juries according to the criteria mentioned above. In each area, students who win a degree will receive a monetary award and certificate of achievement.
- If the students participating in the competition as a team, are invited to the final exhibitions, it is obligatory that both students are present in the exhibition and presentation. Otherwise, both students will be eliminated from the competition.

- If, after the competition, any violation of the rule is found, the above-mentioned sanctions will apply.
- During the competition, you need to regularly check your e-mail account registered in the system.
- For projects that are considered to be of commercial value, it is recommended to make patent application before the exhibition. Information about this can be obtained from www.turkpatent.gov.tr. Scientific evaluation of the applied projects is performed within the framework of the above-mentioned rules and principles. No objection, other than the judicial one, will be accepted with regard to the results of the evaluations.
