ÇEKMEKÖY BELEDİYESİ

In 1964 was born in Rize Çayeli.

He continued his education life at Beyoğlu – Cihangir and Rize. He graduated from the Department of Business Administration. Starting from his young age he worked at his family commercial enterprises. 

Besides his business life he does not neglect to take care of social issues. His political careerbegan in 2003 as the Chairman of AK Party Ümraniye.

Successfully he conducted this duty for two – term and in 2008 he quiet for Çekmeköy mayor position.   

Ahmet Poyraz is married. He has three kids and they are primary, secondary, and university students.
